2 tsp Granulated sugar
1 lb beets, Cc
½ c vinegar, White
¾ c water, Hot
1 tsp Salt
DIRECTIONS:
Stir the sugar and salt into the hot water until dissolved.

Slice the beets into pieces, and add to a jar.
Pour the liquid mixture over the beets.
