Ingredients:
* 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
* 2-3 tart apples, such as Granny Smith, diced
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
* 1/4 cup dried cranberries
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 1/4 cup sour cream
* 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
* Prep the Broccoli:
* Steam the broccoli florets until they’re tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Drain well.
* Rinse the broccoli with cold water to stop the cooking process and refresh it.
* Combine Ingredients:
* In a large bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, diced apples, chopped nuts (if using), and dried cranberries.
* Make the Dressing:
* In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
* Assemble and Chill:
* Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to coat evenly.
* Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 24 hours) to allow the flavors to meld.
