Ingredients
- 5 to 6 medium Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into chunks
- 16 ounces Sauerkraut
- 1 ½ pounds Polish Sausage, sliced in about 1 inch pieces
- ½ cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tsp Caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Put the Sauerkraut at the bottom of the crockpot
Cover the Sauerkraut with the chunks of potatoes
Cover the potatoes with the sliced Polish Sausage
SECOND STEP:
In a bowl combine the caraway seeds, bay leaf and the chicken broth
Pour the broth mixture over the meat, potatoes and kraut in the Crockpot
THIRD STEP:
Season with Salt and pepper if desired
Place the cover on the Crockpot, cook on high for 4 hours
Mix well and serve hot
